Distribution/Warehouse Employee – Casual Raleigh

Join the team in our busy cold room at our milk manufacturing factory. Casual position suited to candidates who prefer physical/manual tasks.

We are seeking energetic and shift flexible employees to work in the cold room at our busy milk manufacturing site in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manual work or working in refrigerated warehouses, don’t worry we’ve got you covered with all the PPE and appropriate work gear.

This is a casual position and employment will involve shift work (we operate 24 hours, 6 days) and may include weekends and Public Holidays. You will report into the shift leading-hand and they will help you with your training and ensure you understand our safety and operating procedures. We are committed to serving our communities with our great products and we aim to deliver our orders 100% in spec, in full and on time, so we like people who care as much as we do about getting things done right first time. Essential selection criteria include:

• Physically fit to perform physical / manual tasks in a cold room environment 
• Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety
• Ability to work shift work, including weekends and Public Holidays
• Punctual and reliable for early morning, day and afternoon shifts
• Understand product picking procedures for Vendor orders
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Sound time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines
• Numeracy and literacy ability to understand & complete orders
• Capable of problem solving and decision making

We do require a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
